During the time I have been with Pregame, we have put together a 181-143 record with 324 plays released. We have been tough on the books in postseason action, especially in the NBA Finals, currently on a 34-13 ATS run since the 2008 Finals.
I do release a decent amount of sides on busy cards nightly in the NBA, but I'm not a high volume totals player. Over 80% of my NBA releases have been sides.
Like the NFL, I'm more situational in the NBA than I am a matchup capper, bringing a few matchups into the mix, but more often, my sides are backed by solid spots and offensive & defensive efficiency numbers as we get deeper into the season.
I do believe in streaking teams, but also, by following efficiency numbers, have been able to get out in front of teams that are soon to take off on runs or fall back. We'll look to continue our winning long-term NBA runs this season...and my analysis can be tested on our daily radio show, FIRST PREVIEW on ESPN-1100 / 100.9 FM in Las Vegas.
