Gauging "best" to me is not always what what was the "best overall movie". To be, it is a factor obviously, but my "best" is something that when on TV I watch almost every time. Hoosiers, Field of Dreams and Natural were some of my all time favorites. Here are my top 3:

Most football movies ive seen just werent that great....but i liked Prefontaine with Donald Sutherland and most of the Rocky movies especially tha first and last ones. Lot of good morals in those Rocky movies. (I probably need to watch more....hahaha) If "Warrior" counts well that was pretty good too.

Really liked Cinderella Man, thought it was a very underrated movie. As good as the movie was the book is even better which is often the case. And no, I'm not old enough to remember the fight.

Moneyball. Best movie from last year.

And call me crazy but I just saw Rudy for the first time. And both my mom and step-dad went to ND and go to games all the time. How did I not see this for 20 years ??

But THE BEST that I can't turn off is HOOP DREAMS, baby.

Great topic! :)

Hard to pick a favorite, but Rocky, Warrior, The Natural, Bull Durham, Rudy, and Remember the Titans are all in the running. Miracle was a good one too.
