Unless you have liked the same athlete your whole life it is okay to break it down by era. For me:In the 80's growing up was a huge Vinnie Johnson fan. The microwave's jump shot was deadly.Even though now I look back and feel he was overrated, LOVED to watch Mike Tyson fight. By the time he fought Holyfield I was rooting against him.Obviously Barry Sanders. He made me Lion's season tickets and still remember that run against the Cowboys in the playoffs when he was getting tackled by like 5 guys and squirted out to do the mad dash down the field.Now a big Justin Verlander fan.If I had to pick on that stretched a lifetime, would have to say Joe Montana.
