So many events. NYI/PHIL game 6 1980 rates very high. so many DA U games, 98 Ucla comback from 38-21 in 4th to win 49-45, knocking them out of NC game, allowed FSU to play Tenn, Bowden owes us for that one. EDGE with 300 yards, UM record in that game, we rushed the field at the CLASSIC OB, miss that place really bad. 2001 REVENGE game vs UW and Nueheisel 65-7, 2001 CANES BEST EVER in NFL talent. 2003 33-10 comeback to beat CROCS with fromer qb Brock Berlin providing the magic on the OB. I told buddy, who wantesd to leave, we would win the game when down 33-10, CROC fans around me who were ragging me got the worst of it as we just did a 360 and won 38-33, better comeback than UCLA game b/c it was a rival. I can mention some many FSU/UM games, but you know the WR 1,2,3 WL 1!!!!.Just a few, so many more. Livin in Tampa has spring training tickets for NYY for yrs, lived 5 minutes from there and RayJay awhile back. So many NYY games a skid growing up in NY, NYI games, NYK games. Was at game 7 east finals as Tampa Bay beat Philly to go to cup finals.Reminds me of the best concert ever PAGE N PLANT 5/20/1998 at ice palace, perhaps NEW TOPIC, BEST EVER CONCERT?? JD??
T-CANE. Sounds like the one for Saturday :)
Not a big deal at Alabama9 we are blessed), but have been to 6 actual National Champioship games played by the Tide dating back to a game played in the old Tulane stadiun Sugar Bowl in which ND beat BAMA 24 to 23 to win the championship in the mid 70s. First time they had ever met.
Were you at 2000 Orange Bowl :)

Some World Series games, NFL playoffs at Lambeau field is cool. Several Bowl games but the event that made the hair on my neck stand up was not one most might suspect. I've attended the Indy 500 several times and sat on the first row on the main straight. Sitting there that close and watching the start of that race when they drop that green flag in totally beyond description. My wife and I go with a large group from here and watching the newbies faces at the start is amazing. It is something I think everybody should have on their bucket list if they are into racing at all.
That is awesome Sparty...never would have thought of that, yet I hear that a lot now that you mention it (INDY). I'm not into Racing - OR Cars, yet that sounds like something we'd all get a thrill from.
Gotta say JD....GREAT SUBJECT. Not a Brag-fest for those that GET IT....all about the thrill of the VENUE & EVENTS themselves - & the unspeakable electricity & sensational, jaw-dropping athleticism we see on display; leaving so many of us hopelessly, helplessly addicted to big-time sports. Hence, not to sound pretentious, if & when we figure out ways to make a LIVING or even residual income from such events...we'll ALL never truly "Work" another day in our lives .... in my humble opinion. (Hokie Time over)
Here's hoping we see & read a bunch more of these....
Personally, looking forward to going to the Tigers/Red Sox series at Fenway the end of July.
