The greatest sports game of all time (with Baseball Stars a close 2nd)

Fat Danny and the Bears losing almost every game. He would not switch teams because he was such a Chicago homer.
Mexican Tony and the Giants. LT around the corner was brutal.
Reno G (super long and complex Italian last name) and the 99%-1% pass attack using the Houston Texans.

I remember having a nervous breakdown playing a full season in like a 24 hour time frame the day it came home from Toy's R Us. Used the Lions and Barry Sanders and could not go undefeated. Damn CPU cheated in those late games. CPU caught every single pass and the reverse the Vikings would do had their guy blinking he was going so fast.

The list goes on and on of all the characters that took part in our "seasons" and "tournaments" in the basement over on Barrie Street off Warren and Greenfield. Personally, I was a Tecmo Master with the 49ers. Fat Danny took it to a vote one time and tried to ban me from using my strategy of putting Jerry Rice at RB. With Jerry at RB and his speed rating so high you could run him from the backfield and also use him to catch passes. Almost unstoppable.

Super Tecmo Bowl and Baseball Stars are would be my first two choices, as well. But that would be boring to reaffirm, so I will go with the most iconic sports game of all time... Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!

Even today, you can find Iron Mike at the top of games lists as one of the hardest boss battles. Oh yeah... I beat him.

Probably one of the most basic games of all time that was probably the most addicting. I do not mean basic like PONG, but there was only a handful of games to fight. Despite that, COUNTLESS hours spent playing it.

Jd this brings back great memories. Everyone in neighborhood would gather for epic tecmo bowl and super tecmo bowl. I remember you would zig zag running down the field and score. I loved the states feature. Id try to go undefeated and lead in all running passing and defensive stats. I underrated tecmo game was super tecmo basketball. I also remember spending countless hours playing RBI baseball, bases loaded and Joe Montana sports talk football even though announcers would be 5 plays behind lol
