The Cardinals have struggled to score runs this year, ranking 25th in runs scored (3.78 rpg), while also ranking 17th in hitting (.251) and 29th in homers (47). Numbers we are not used to seeing from this team on offense, but the pitching is what they have held their hats on this year, ranking 3rd in ERA (3.21) and 3rd in WHIP (1.17). Taking the hill for the Cards today will be Lance Lynn, who is 8-5 on the year, with a solid 2.90 ERA, while on the road he has gone 4-3 with a 2.57 ERA. Pick: I know how good teams are when Zack Greinke pitches at home, but I will be going with Lance Lynn and the Cardinals here. Both starters have good numbers vs their opponents, but the Cards do hit righties very well and the Dodgers are starting to show signs of missing Ramirez. THe Dodgers have not been a good home team this year, while the Cards are 17-5 in Lynn's last 22 starts during game 3 of a series. Look for St Louis to steal another one here.
