Welcome to another season of college football. I'll be posting this report on Wednesday evening each week. Note these are not my plays, just information culled from books in Nevada, offshore and also where it's not legal. Comments are from my contacts.
134 North Carolina is somewhat of a sharp/square split with the pro dough showing on the Tar Heels.
135 FIU has drawn sharp dollars from the outset, and there's been some steam chasing on this one.
141 TCU drew sharp money early, then Minnesota got hit driving the number back down to about where it opened. Wiseguy action came back in today on the favorite.
144 Tulane has been a sharp side, public likes the Blue Devils here. One of my sources mentioned that his biggest square player loves Duke, for what that's worth.
146 Idaho was a buy for sharps today.
154 Georgia State has been getting plenty of play, mostly public but some pro as well.
211 Western Kentucky was hit hard immediately once it finally went up. Action now much closer to split with the switch in favorites.
160 Boise State number has moved more on opinion than a big dollar rush, but the sharper dollars are on the favorite.
162 Eastern Michigan took a bit of sharp money, and apparently it didn't take all that much to move this number. Low volume game.
170 UCLA is taking mostly public dollars, but there doesn't seem to be any rush by wise guys to jump in on the dog at this point.
204 Southern Miss has continued to draw some pro action, although that figures to stop with the line having dropped to mostly 21. My New Orleans guy says it's a real clean split, with squares all in love with the chalk and his sharper players taking the points.
There is plenty of line movement on a number of other games, but that would seem to be mostly public action where the sharps either aren't getting involved, or might be laying in wait.
