Horse Racing is an absolutely brutal game believe I know first hand. You get your horse ready pay the stake payments and have the dream of standing in the Winner's Circle of a Big Race and in a minute those dreams can be gone. 

Today Endorsement had a brilliant workout at Churchill Downs going 4 furlongs in a razor sharp 47.1 but within a hour high hopes turned to major disappointment.

Endorsement, is owned by WinStar Farm and trained by Shannon Ritter. Endorsement suffered a non-displaced fracture of the right front ankle during his morning workout and is out of the 136th Kentucky Derby. Robby Albarado, who would have ridden Endorsement, now gets the mount on Dean's Kitten.
