Over 2.75 is a asian handicap where your bet is split on 2.5 and 3.0, but yes, for more info, google asian handicap to breakdown the variations.
Obviously there have been a bunch of goals recently. The Saudi’s were playing ticky tacky footy and then the flood gates opened and they looked out of sorts. Taking note of that for the future more so than Russia scoring 5 goals. Uruguay took forever to score against Egypt, but that could have been 3-0 easy if Suarez stopped trying to lick the ball in.
Morocco/Iran was a classic under/draw situation. What a heartbreak with the 90+5 OG. Neither team was impressive.
Spain/Portugal... I mean, talk about El Classico. Ronaldo’s WC record isn’t great but boy was he out for blood. The Spanish have so much individual talent but it took them a little to get going. Costa’s individual effort in the 1 v 4.... wow. Bet both teams are happy they don’t have to play again. Portugal got the W here picking up the draw imo.
Saturday picks:
Made it last night but I had Aussie’s +1.5 -106. Reports out of the French camp were they were disorganized and that was evident. VAR failed as the Aussie defender won the ball that created the PK. 2nd goal was lucky.
I like U 2.5 even money in the Argentina/Iceland game. Unlike the Saudi’s, little Iceland grind you out. If they concede early, they won’t give up and should give a stout defensive effort. They should funnel Messi into tight positions and while Messi could dribble out of quicksand, he still needs a lot to fall.
Peru/Denmark feels like a 1-1 draw to me. I probably won’t take a side, but I lean Peru if you wanted to pick a winner or +.5. They are VERY excited to be in the World Cup and I think the energy levels will show.
Croatia should take care of business against Nigeria in the late game. Modric should maestro and the African qualifiers didn’t show me much so it’s also a fade of Nigeria. -140 isn’t the worst number to lay in this type of game and it’s my favorite play of the day
