Just a brief history lesson....
2017- The Myles Jack play. Virtually the same play blown dead as the Kelce fumble. Cost the Jags a 17 point lead and a trip to the Super Bowl. Also, there were multiple Chiefs back chasing the play. The notion that it was an auto TD was silly
2018- AFC Championship again... 3rd down.. Incomplete. Chris Jones called for roughing the passer for hitting Brady on the shoulder pad. Instead of the Chiefs getting the ball back up 4 in the 4th. Potentially cost the Chiefs a trip to the Super Bowl.
Those were egregious errors in far bigger games. This was a regular season game... The Harry TD? Edelman had a clear block in the back. No call.. Furthermore, you have the GOAT QB and coach of all time. Score from the 3.. Pretty simple.
At no point were the Patriots the better team in this game. Thankfully they threw a few trick plays out there to have a chance on offense.
And the aforementioned 110 more penalty yards on the Chiefs (apparently should have been 115) should have helped the Pats slightly.
I live here in NE... The tears flooded the streets Monday morning. Had trouble getting to work.
