The more I look in to it, the more I like the Chiefs. Colts are the new fad, but the line is'nt budging, its still Chiefs -5.
If its a snow storm I don't know who it favors. So putting that aside, if the game goes off under regular circumstances I agree with Dr. Chuck that there is value on the Chiefs.
The game is heavily debated in other threads. I just want to give one reason supporting the Chiefs. It might sound like nothing but it should cast fear to hearts of Colts bettors.
What if the Chiefs D step up?
Lets take two steps back.
Week 17: Chiefs blow out the Raiders 35-3. Nothing wrong with the Defense here.
Week 16: Chiefs lose 31-38 in Seattle on Sunday night.
In this must-win for Seattle, in the most difficult of environments, Chiefs outgained the Seahawks 7ypp to 6.2 ypp. However, they lost 2-0 on turnovers and to a great Russell Wilson who hit Baldwin and Lockett for big gains. In this game Chiefs were down 2 of their best defensive backs and it showed. These guys are back now. And the star D-line has had time to rest.
Season: For the season, even with injuries, and all the Eric Berry hype, the Chiefs only give up 18 points per game in Arrowhead. Hopefully the Berry banter this week doesn't derail the D that should do fine without him.
Like Marcus says, hope I'm a help :)
