The Chargers have fattened up playing some bad teams, particularly bad offenses. None of the teams they have beaten this season rank higher than 18th in the NFL in passing yards. They lost to both Kansas City and the Rams, the only good passing teams they have faced. Pittsburgh is off a loss which was caused by turnovers, the Steelers actually outgained the Broncos by over 200 total yards in that game. The loss of Melvin Gordon also takes away one of the Chargers most used weapons. Pittsburgh consistently plays subpar games on the road, Big Ben in particular plays better at home. Pittsburgh returns home after back to back road stinkers, losing last week and somehow beating Jacksonville despite being totally outplayed. This is a HUGE game with lots of playoff implications, a win by Pittsburgh gives them the same record as the Chargers along with the head-to-head tie-breaker against them.
