Wanted to find a link to my old draft props but pregame won’t let me go that far back into my discussions.. but here is the plays I have posted in the draft.
2014: Manziel Over
2015: Cooper Under, Gurley Under
2016: Tunsil Over, Pharoah cooper Over
2017: Jamal adams Under, Haason Redick Under, Deshone Kizer Over, Kevin King ahead of Juju smith Schuster
The draft is one of my favorite things to bet on because I follow the sport year round, so I’m pretty familiar with teams needs/contract situations/and what respected people have said about prospects...I will hopefully add to these as the days come BOL Fellas.
Wide Receivers to go first round UNDER 2.5 -160 *WINNER*
- I’ve had thus one eyed down for a while. Bob McGinn, who has excellent draft sounces including multiple scouts and personnel people, has said one scout considers this to be the worst WR class they have ever scouted. The clues leading up to the draft seems to indicate that many decision makers feel similar. Teams have poured money into the FA WR class, paying above what was considered market value for many of the players. Even the Ravens, who came into the draft as one of the most WR needy teams, decided to sign Crabtree, John brown, and Willie Snead as recently as a few days before the draft. The Two teams that seem most likely to address WR in the back half of the first round are Dallas and Carolina, but I wouldn’t be stunned at all if both pass and take BPA, and then go WR in round two. Calvin Ridley, DJ Moore, and cameron Sutton have been the three guys that have been rumored to be potential first round picks, but I believe at least one doesn’t make it into the first round.
Saquon Barkley to be selected before Josh Rosen -200 *WINNER*
- The Giants interest in Barkley seems to be legit. Ernie accorsi, Gettlemans mentor, has said Eli has multiple years left. Shurmer And Gettelman have went out of their way to constantly say Eli has years left. GM Dave Gettelman has said he wants to take a player who he can envision in a gold jacket, and that Barkley is a player that anyone could have scouted. Gettelman has never traded down in his career as a GM, and also selected a RB in the top ten last year. Even if the Giants do pass, I still believe we will be favored win this bet with barkley in play at 4 and 5.
Baker Mayfield UNDER pick 6.5 -350 *WINNER*
- Mayfield is reportedly the Jets target at pick 3, and you’d have to believe they traded up to the pick with a specific target in mind. That target is likely Mayfield, as Darnold is projected to not be around at pick 3. but don’t rule out the Browns at 1, Broncos at 5, And a trade up to 6. Mayfield supposedly put a line at 5 where Denver picks and said “I am not going later then this”. Denver requested to have Mayfield at the senior bowl, has spent extra time working with him, and reportedly came away impressed. They and the Colts are also two teams openly saying they might traise down, which would likely be for a team attempting to get a quarterback.
Notre Dame players to go round 1 OVER 1.5 -400 *WINNER*
- I don’t mind paying heavy juice if I’m getting line value. I would be stunned if we lost this play. Nelson is obviously a lock to be drafted round 1, and McGlinchey is widely regarded as the number 1 tackle in a draft where I can name about ten teams who need tackle help picking outside of the top ten. McGlinchey is being mocked by some respected insisers to possibly go as early as 8 to SF, or 10 to OAK. Regardless, I would be absolutely stunned to see him not go round 1, making the juice worth the squeeze.
