We are 2-0 this season with the comp picks here on the forum for league play. I promised RJ I would post one every thursday this season and so here we go with this week.
This week I am going to florida and the game featuring the Los Angeles Rams and the Buc's. God it does feel good to say LA Rams again and not St Louis. Good riddance, but that is another story altogether. I picked the Rams last week to cover against Seattle and they did come through. Emotion cannot enter into capping. I felt they would bounce back strongly and they did. I figured their defensive front could create anarchy for Russell Wilson and yes, they did. This Rams team will likely do in LA what they did in St Louis. Play inconsistent football. Follow good games with clunkers. Anyway, they travel to the east coast to meet a Buc's team who is coming off an ass kicking in the desert by the Cardinals. I really felt the Buc's would fare well in a close game last sunday. I could not have been more wrong. Winston just had a miserable day. They kept turning the ball over and that is just lethal in league play. Kills you. And he seemed to unravel. Not going to overreact here. The Rams are still not as good as last weeks one performance showed and the Buc's are not as bad as their display would lead one to believe. I do think losing Doug Martin is pretty huge for Winston and the Buc's. He is one of the more underrated backs in the league and takes some pressure off Winston. Now, say what one will about the Rams but they can defend when they have their minds right as we clearly saw on display against Seattle. They will cause problems this sunday for Winston. The Rams on defense are no joke guys. That game was not a fluke. But, the stubborn fact is this guys, this Rams offense has now played two full games and yet to score a touchdown. Man that's weak. I personally view the side here as a coin flip. But I do see an opportunity with the total. I am suggesting to you guys that you play this thing UNDER the total of 42. Barring some crazy scores off turnovers and special teams I see a slug fest brewing here.
Okay, that is this weeks free NFL release. On my business side I do have a NFL Triple Star side release in play tonight. I don't play all the prime time games but am all in tonight. Thanks as always and best of luck to us. Enjoy the games.
