This is not correct.
I discussed the issue with Pregame's technical folks EARLY in the day. We agreed, if the game stayed at below 5 to leave it up. It blew threw 5 sometime midafternoon, and as we discussed pregame pulled the GOY down WELL BEFORE KICKOFF.
I posted that we had taken it down AFTER the kickoff, but it had been down for quite some time. I didn't want to post prior to that, as I did not think it was fair to those that had bought the play, as it would have been obvious I was on the Rams if I had posted I needed to pull it down.
Anyone who bought the play, AND wound up laying more than -5 please let me know, as that should not have happened. I saw it closed -6-115 in many spots.
Post Mortem: If you bet the Rams -1.5 or worse, you were pretty much drawing dead late...........an embarrassing loss.
RJ and I have differences in marketing strategies, frankly he understands this aspect of the business, and I really don't. However, i have always told him "RJ I want to do WHATEVER IT TAKES, to give our people THEIR BEST CHANCE TO WIN". And he has ALWAYS supported that vision, even if it makes for more work for Pregame, and his staff.
I would like to win every game. Further I would like to have the right side on every game, and beat every line move. Doing the best I can here guys......let's finish a great year strong.
