But how much did they get paid for selling picks that went 4-22? And if your paying $25 a pick and betting 2-3% of your bankroll per play and trying to make $$, how much do you have to start out with? Amazing isnt it.
At 60%, you break even with a $25 pick if you're betting about $150/game. Actually, you lose a little, but $150 is close. If you bet $300/game, you make $23/bet profit on average (every 5 games, you win $900 and lose $660, so you're +240 on bets, and it cost you 125 for the picks, so you're up $115, or $23/pick). if you bet $500 per bet, each pick is worth $55 profit. Let's say you can actually find five 60% picks per week. Then you can make $275 if you bet $500 per bet. If you want that to be 2-3% of your bankroll, you need about $20,000 ($16,667-$25,000).
Tough way to make an easy living.
