Bitter pill to swallow last night with a half point loss after having a 12 point lead in the 4th quarter with San Antonio, humbling ..... Without further ado ...
Nets vs Heat UNDER 218
The Nets have not looked polish to say the least with the start of this season and although KD, and Harden superstars the transition game has taken a toll with the Nets without Kyrie Irving. Also the new rule change that doesnt allow shooters to create contact to draw fouls has hit James harden the hardest (no pun intended) James is use to making his living at the free throw line last year averaging almost 8 FT's per game and that number is down to 3 in this short season. Last game out I saw PROP bet for harden at 20.5 points which the public hammered the over bc well its James Harden, he only finished with 14 points. The perception is that he's a talented player that can overcome any slump, but it just seems he's not making enough adjustments to the new rule and for James struggling to score would be putting it mildly. The Heat are traveling for only the second time this year, the first time was in Indiana where they only put up 92 points against the Pacers which was including overtime so I think there could be something to that. I think both teams want to establish dominance in the East as this is an important game for both teams but maybe a little more for the Heat. I could see this game playing like a playoff game where possessions will matter and they could look to slow it down a bit and lean on their half court offense. As of today and I know its early but the Nets rank 23rd in offense as the HEAT are 13th so nothing stellar there. One thing I always like to look at as well when betting unders is 3 point attempts per game and as of today the Heat rank 27th while the Nets are 16th. With all this into consideration I am on the UNDER
