Brooklyn vs Denver GAME UNDER 222
This total seems high and I think I understand why. Brooklyn is known as a high scoring, poor defensive team at the moment. Denver, while known for being a good defensive team, gave up 125 to Atlanta and that total hit 246. Perhaps the assumption is Irving will do what Young did and push tempo, but there are few things wrong with this:
-Denver's coach called them out after bad defense and back to back losses. The next four teams were held to under 100, which includes a high scoring TWolves team in OT. Denver will respond tonight.
-Denver is a bottom five paced team and top five in defensive efficiency. While Brooklyn plays a contrasting style, Caris Lavert is out for Brooklyn and Irving is now questionable with shoulder impingement. Even if he is a go, not sure his shooting form will be the same. I would expect an off game. Going back to Boston, he is known as below average defensively. If he doesn't play, we may see a better defensive effort.
-Denver is 8-26-1 to the under as a favorite last 35 games.
Miami vs Cleveland GAME UNDER 215
-I am looking at offensive and defensive efficiency for each team. Both are average offensively (17th and 20th,) but Miami is 3rd defensively. Cleveland is average at 16th.
-Herro and Dragic are both questionable right now for Miami. Obviously I like if both were out as that would take away more offensive than defensive fire power as well as cause more fatigue on the part of the Heat. Even if they play, what impact will they have? I am willing to bet less than 100% will impact this total.
-Miami 5-2 to the under last 7 games, 6-1 under last 7 playing in Cleveland.
-Cleveland 4-2 to the under last 6 games.
Suns -8
Good spot for them with Hawks beat up after road upset and Suns loss to the Lakers. Suns rebound and win easily.
BOL to everyone tonight.
