I really enjoyed the Stanley Cup Finals this time despite not finding there my Rangers (what's new?). I really learned to appreciate Alexei Ovechkin the sportsman and Washington Capitals as an organization. I can list the names of all the great players from Holtby and all the way to Kuznetsov, but, I think the Capitals were simply a team first of all, and then the superior one to any after beating the Pens.
I can go with so many more compliments and compare their passing thru the Pens to the Bulls going thru the Pistons like my colleague Phixer did in his post - but, I won't do that. The Capitals deserve what they achieved with hard work and great playoff working ethics although they never been this far in the Ovy era.
