Yesterday's Topic of the Day: Big time sporting events have you seen live?*thanks to T-CANE for the topic choice.I am not a concert person. While at UofM I took this chick to see Dave Matthews cause she was a fan and I wanted to bang her. Dave Matthews made my ears bleed and she never put out. Took my wife to see Celine Dion in Vegas and wanted to smash my glass and commit suicide right there. At one point almost stood up to scream, "SING THE DAMN TITANIC SONG ALREADY SO I CAN LEAVE!". I like a good band at a bar with friends. So will let other people talk this topic and role. But for RJ:

Page n Plant in 1998. Front row in front of the great Jimmy Page. He's amazing and still had in in 98.Plant's vocals are still strong and they did old LZ tunes and songs off there current record.I think of the credit card commericial, tickets$$$, food and bev $$$$, front row Page and Plant, PRICELESS.

Not a big Country and Western Guy, have seen the Stones, ZZ Top and several others. But the best concert I ever saw was hands down Garth Brooks.
Hard to pick just 1, so I'll go with my first Phish show. Polaris Ampitheater in Columbus, OH. Probably not the best show I've been to, but it was the start of an era for me. Been to around 80 Phish shows since.
I really don't think I could just pick 1. Elton John was awesome; Foo Fighters/RHCP was awesome; The Eagles were awesome; I could go on for a long time.. I'm gonna have to put some thought into this one..
Waiting for RJ. He has seen Bob Dillon like 1000x. Or Marco. Think he has went to at least 5 Justin Beiber concerts and claims it is a magical experience each and every time.
The Who in 1982 at JFK Stadium in Philly and Shea Stadium NYC.
Robert Plant, close second Elton John/Tina Turner performing together back in 1984..
I saw U2 at MSG a month or so after 9/11 .. . best show of theirs ever. (been to 5) .. a close 2nd believe it or not... Billy Joel... He just plays forever!
2/27/1980 took my gf at that time, my sister and her fiance to see
one of two complete performances of Pink Floyd building "The Wall"
@ the Nassau Coliseum. It was the only East Coast location
large enough to do so, 4 tix only 24 Dollars!
