At least in my home town. During this whole pandemic grocery stores, Wal-Mart, big box hardware stories, and a few others have remained open. At various times these stores had so many people in them that it was physically impossible for people to remain 6' apart. Now restaurant's are back open for inside dining. All the restaurants I have been in have closed every other table to give the allusion of keeping that 6' distance. BUT....at each table open you can seat from 1-6 people (depending on the size of the table). So there goes your social distancing. Golf courses here have remained open. They limit 1 person to a cart instead of the normal 2 for the 6' distancing rule. However I guarantee you there's not a foursome in the country that at some point in the round the players have gotten within that 6' distance.
To me this is what I call a feel good rule. It's made so the person that makes the rule can feel good about themselves that they are doing something to help. It looks good on paper but in reality the majority of people aren't paying any attention to it. Let's start getting this damn country back to normal.
