Hello Everybody,
Wasn't on here yesterday to post my losing pick in the Pirates-Diamondbacks game going under 8.0 runs. It was 5-0 Pirates going into the 6th, then Arizona had enough and went off scoring 5 and 4 runs in back to back innings, talk about a bad beat. So that brings my MLB record here at Pregame to 18-23 for a $991.00 net negative. I just can't seem to break these bad losses in Major League Baseball this year.
I made another official pick here on the Phillies money line at -140 with Aaron Nola on the hill taking on the visiting Rockies who are starting Jon Gray. I think this will be an interesting one to watch tonight and I think Philadelphia will pull one off here.
Before I go out for the day, I just wanted to get some feedback or if anybody has anything new to add to the developments in states and their legislatures passing sports betting for their casinos. So, Delaware was the first state since PASPA was repealed to legalize single-game sports betting. I just read today that New Jersey's governor signed their passed legislation and the casinos will be looking to take single-game bets as soon as Thursday.
So this is great news, and I just wanted to see if anybody had any information or opinion for the development of New York State. I read today that the Assembly and the Senate revised their bills so that they match, and that they are moving closer to legalization. After that is done, it still needs the governor's signature, and from what I read Andrew Cuomo is not as optimistic as the legislature is that the bill will be passed and signed into law before the session ends on June 20.
I was just wondering if anybody had any thoughts of their own on this development, what their opinion is if it will happen before the session ends and when June 20 comes around, what happens next after that. From what I read, the New York legislature has a habit of passing and signing laws last minute.
