NATE UPDATE: (AP) Source: Still a bit too early to tell but kickoff time for NATE will be approximately midnight tonight. Right now simply to early, to tell exactly where NATE will hit (eye). Regardless where this storm hits, bad effect on all areas below! Nobody wants the eye to hit, but east or west of the eye causes problems. Thank goodness this is no Katrina. She was a category 5.
NATE TO HIT New Orleans 12-1
NATE TO HIT LOUISIANA STATE/MISSISSIPPI STATE LINE 8-1
NATE TO HIT BAY ST. Louis, MS./Pass Christian, Ms. 6-1
NATE TO DIRECTLY HIT GULFPORT, MS. 9/2
NATE TO HIT BILOXI, MS. 3-1
NATE TO HIT ALABAMA on Eastward 5/2
Kinda late to hit anywhere more east than Alabama.
No mater where it hits, all of the areas above will have aggravating problems, loss of electricity….water…..etc.
If there is anything good about this storm, its that storm moving very fast and if it hits any area its moving in and out in 40 minutes. Its always the aftermath and flooding that delays repairs.
Again, TULANE kicks off at 10:00 A.M. CENTRAL. in NewOrleans. Check other states. L.S.U. looking for a way to cancel with Florida. I don't blame them as bad as they are. A little humor never hurts.
SOURCE Update again if any directional changes in NATE's Path occurs. CURRENTLY IN MIDDLE OF GULF of Mexico. MOVING FAST AND SHOULD HIT SOMEWHERE, again a bit before midnight I got this from ASSOCIATED PRESS AND friends in south.
Please keep these people in our thoughts. Loss of electricity is really a big problem. People have food go bad etc.
