I'll step out of ranks here for a few reasons. I think i speak for a large volume of Pros, and forum members in regards to this. (Seeing posts that the MOD's and Pros , and other pregame officials don't care) Has me rather feeling some type of way today.
#1 These videos/threads of fighting/ chest pounding at each other are becoming pointless and redundant. It may not be any specific video or thread. but I'll use this thread as a small example to those we see on the forum. The mission here in the forum is to help each other win, gain knowledge and to share valuable content. Sharing information with the newcomer is very important. Valuable forum members appreciate what content is being given here for free. If winning and sharing and getting along is not on your list, maybe another forum would be happy to welcome you.
#2 To even think the MOD's/Pro's/Pregame officials don't care is laughable. I can guarantee you that the passing months and the months ahead are the busiest of times for those indicated above. It's not easy to babysit 10k posters daily. Some don't have the time because they are busy working, and producing work for the clients and for the forum members on a daily basis.
#3 We all like to pound our chest and acknowledge a good streak. Some without and some with a humbled approach. We are human, we are happy and we like to express that. Going overboard causes nothing but issues. Those that do the best they can, and actually produce winners without that (IM THE KING) attitude reap the greatest of benefits and followers. Do i myself get over excited sometimes? Sure i do, and i'm quickly reminded that chest pounding for all to hear is not perceived very well in this very forum. Sometimes acting more professional is a better way to go. Quick example i learned from (Spartan) he is a class act, and by watching his professionalism it has calmed me down in regards to winning. That alone has benefits for myself and can for yourself as well. I'll admit, i get very excited when im doing well, taking it down a notch isn't all that bad..Give it a try.,
#4 Posters have made friends here. Take for instance a issue that a Pregame pro is currently going through. We all reached out to give our thoughts and prayers. Even in a time when sports is prevalent we can gather to help each other with common life obstacles. We share this because we feel comfortable here. Some have built lasting friendships that actually help them in life and with sports.
#5 The fighting has become out of control at times. I must admit it's hard to keep track with my busy day of work here who is fighting with who. Let's put all that fighting to sleep. Let's put all the nonsense threads to sleep. If you have an issue with a poster keep it to yourself and move along in a professional manner. The benefits of bickering in the forum is nil.
#6 Here is a video that has worth..Take notes and listen..Andy was helped. Andy helped Steve. Steve helped you. This is a positive video. This is what it's all about. One common goal, to help each other. No matter if your new, amateur, or pro, we all want to win
.
Last, maybe i'm a tad out of line or out of ranks but the fact is, this is the best place for what we do. Plain and simple period. Take it serious and you might just learn something and come away with some change. This is not to call out any posters or to offend anyone. That's all i have on this topic.
