Below are some trends in college football this week. Please note that I'm not betting every single one of these trends and it also doesn't mean I can't go against a specific trend. These were just the 15 ATS trends I found most interesting this week.
1. Colorado St has won 7 straight series meetings over New Mexico and has covered 5 in a row. This week the Rams are -7.5 at the Lobos.
2. Eastern Michigan is 16-4 ATS in their last 20 games (5-1 ATS this year). This week the Eagles are +3 at home to Western Michigan.
3. Charlotte has never beat an FBS team at home going 0-12 SU/3-8-1 ATS. This week they are +7.5 vs UAB.
4. Wake Forest is on an 9-2 ATS run away from home. This week the Demon Deacons are +6 at Georgia Tech.
5. Virginia Tech head coach Justin Fuente is 7-1 ATS off a bye. This week Virginia Tech is -21 hosting North Carolina.
6. Boston College is on a 9-2-1 ATS run as a road underdog. This week the Eagles are +7 at Virginia.
7. Boise St is on an incredible 0-11-1 ATS run at home on the “Smurf Turf”. This week the Broncos are -14 at home vs Wyoming.
8. Kansas has lost 43 straight games on the road and have gone 12-30-1 ATS in those games. This week they are +39 at TCU.
9. Remarkably, Kansas is 5-0 ATS vs TCU the last 5 years with an average cover by 22.5 ppg!
10. Rice head coach David Bailiff is 11-2-1 ATS off a bye. This week the Owls are 20-point underdogs at UTSA.
11. Idaho is on a 17-3 ATS run away from home in the underdog role. This week they are +14.5 at Missouri.
12. Alabama has won 10 straight series meetings over Tennessee (7-3 ATS). This week the Crimson Tide are -36.
13. Tennessee is in their largest underdog role in school history this week (+36 at Alabama).
14. Dating back to his OC days at Ohio St, Texas head coach Tom Herman is 13-0 ATS in his career as an underdog with 11 outright upsets. This week Texas is a 7-point home underdog to Oklahoma St.
15. Dating back to last season, Louisville is just 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games. This week the Cardinals are +7 at Florida St.
