I'll have trouble sleeping tonight for sure...CFB is here and we have an entire season to kick the books tails...I'm very excited for this year all around with football. Big thanks to those guys that jumped on board all of last year and to those that stuck around and followed with the offseason sports..It's been a great year and this CFB will be my best yet.
Let's start the CFB opening night off with a big free play winner !!
135 Florida Intl 13.0 (-110) Greek vs 136 UCFAnalysis: A wide variety of lines for this game...This one stuck out to me early when the line dropped..Money has flowed in here on the Panthers..I agree 100% with this line move...First off we have to take a look at departures...UCF loses a ton of talented players on both sides of the ball...This is almost a rebuilding year for UCF...The WR core for this team will not be very good. They lost so much talent on the outside...Perriman is now in the NFL, Josh Reese has gratuated, and JJ Worton has gratuated as well....The Knights will lose a total of 2,100 yards on the outside...That's remarkable when you really take into account what college teams gather up for the entire year...The passing attack is a major blow to this team...UCF only ranked 102nd in the nation in the rush last year...On top of that entire situation...You now lose 2 OL guys and your backup RB...So the depth is very limted for this UCF offense..The QB is going to be Justin Holman...He is average at best and without top WR guys on this roster, i just don't see him throwing like he did last year...He had a total of 2952 yards last year...Again 2100 of those yards are from the guys that departed...He threw a total of 14 INT's and was sacked 27 times...It can only get worse guys...FIU defense is no joke and getting a bunch of talent from Florida and FSU crop area showed last year...FIU was ranked 60th at the end of 2014....The defense was well over worked with a very young offense that struggled..This team all around should gel much better in 2015..The FIU defense that was "good" IMO returns 8 players..They will be very good up front and very good against the run They return a bunch of DL and LB's....LB core is very strong and UCF is going to have to rely on the run game..I just don't see a wide gap here with these two teams...UCF gets the nod just because the coach is very good...They also get the nod for being at home..I think the QB is a little better then FIU's McGough...I think they are ahead in a few spots, but i have them as being very slim..FIU has a NFL prospect at WR in Jonnu Smith..They also have Griner and both of these guys are going to matchup problems for any team..These guys are very tall and with UCF losing all the starters at CB & Safety this will be an issue for the Knights defense in this game..Throw in the fact that UCF also loses 3 of it's top LB's as well......UCF defense was very good last year...A top 10 defense in fact...How in the hell is this team going to lose all that Sr. strength and remain at the top...They won't, it just can't happen..These teams are really not that far off in this game..FIU has talent no doubt, and the ground game is going to be much better this year also...FIU finished the year with 4 wins in 2014...They came along much better at the end of the year when they had nothing to play for..That really tells me all i need to know about this team..They will be ready and nothing lines up to lay 13 here with UCF...Give me the points here for this one tonight.
***Premiums for Thurs, Friday & Saturday are up....Look for Sunday and Monday soon !!
Let's make a mark this year in football !!
