Last week I was very busy and didnt have anytime to post. Only 2 days of posted plays and resulted in a 2-1 record. The loss coming from a CLV side Saturday and the 2 wins from two totals posted last Monday. This week I will look to have a atleast 5 days posted with plays. Lets look at a 7est start total tonight in New York. We are over 31 units this season in totals and look to keep the pace going into this week.
1* PHI Phillies @ NY Mets Under 7 -105 @William Hill SB, NV
One reason I like this under here today are the two starters we have out there. Burnett and Colon. Two guys that could possibly be dealt before the deadline in a few days. One last start to show other competitive teams, this is what they need to boast thier rotation. IMO, after the last few years AJ Burnett seemed to be done, cooked, a over type of guy, and far from what he once was. The past 2 months though have been a bit different and we can confirm that with other teams mentioning him as a arm they can use for a postseason run. Experience counts as well. Now by all means he isnt a beast, but from where he was at previously, he has done a nice job the past month and a half. On June 4th his ERA was 4.41 and now at today is 3.86. Over Burnetts last 5 starts against NY he is 3-0 with a 2.73 ERA. He is also leading the NL in Innings pitched this season.
On the other side we have Bartolo Colon. The 41 year old starter who has been a bright spot for the Mets this year after signing a 2 year deal. Now his season numbers on paper are not all that impressive, but if you look closer over his last 12 starts, he has posted a 2.98 ERA in over 84 IP. Colon has it rolling right now and in his last start against Philly, he went 7 1/3 IP giving up 2 runs. That is what we need as well today, to go along with a solid outing from Burnett to get us a Under. Lets go!
I was also looking at the Over in Miami and Washington but not 100% just yet, will update any other plays later if any.
