DieHard. I know what's going on. I have been doing this a long time. I do this randomly when I see GOY and I expect better from a pro's pick. Just a couple of days ago a GOY lost from one of the pros on this site and I lost big but I keep doing it because I don't expect negative results. I hope Essler wins because there are others like me who buy when they see GOY. If your one of them I hope you win also. GL
I hear ya brother, it just frustrates me when I see guys jump on board with a professional sports bettor/handicapper randomly and expect positive results....and moreover complain about it. That is a complete random strategy and random results should be expected...not saying that you fall directly into that category or anything and I didn't mean to try and single you out. If one was to just play a pro's picks one day, and then another guy the next, or jump on big plays....they might as well randomly place wagers on teams by flipping a coin.
So say a guy puts out an add that says "GOY" or "GOM" or "Game of the damn century", whatever, and has like a 64-38 GOM record, which is 63% winner, (a highly profitable percentage giving a EV of -5 or better I might add)....but what's to say (unless you bet 100% of those games which I highly doubt most do, and as you said you "randomly" do this when you see a GOY) that you don't go 0-38? There is a 50% probability that you will choose the losing GOY's over the winning.
The point being that unless someone plays 100% of ONE handicapper's plays they shouldn't expected the advertised results.
