NFL Sunday Jacksonville Jaguars vs Cincinnati Bengals Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

NFL week 9 and the Jacksonville Jaguars will travel to Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio to take on the Cincinnati Bengals. The game has a start time of 1:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on CBS. Current Vegas odds have the Bengals listed as 10 point favorites, while the total is set at 43.5.

Analysis:  The Jacksonville Jaguars are in the midst of another rough year as they come in with a 1-7 mark, including an 0-4 mark on the road, getting outscored by 16.5 ppg in those games. The Jaguars are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in November, but they are also just 8-20-1 ATS in their last 29 games overall and 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss. The Jags are a bad offensive team that ranks 30th in total yards, 27th in passing, 25th in rushing and 32nd in scoring (14.8 ppg). They have also struggled on defense this year, ranking 25th in yards allowed, 27th vs the pass, 20th vs the run and 27th in points allowed (27.2 ppg).

The Cincinnati Bengals come in with a 4-2-1 mark on the year, which has them in first place in the AFC North. The Bengals have been solid at home this year, where they are 3-0-1 so far. The Bengals are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and 14-3 ATS in their last 17 home games, but the host is just 1-4-1 ATS the last 6 meetings. The Bengals are an average offensive team that ranks 16th in total yards, 14th in passing, 16th in rushing and 18th in scoring (23 ppg). The defense has been a struggle for this team as they come in ranked 30th in yards allowed, 23rd vs the pass, 29th vs the run and 17th in points allowed (23.4 ppg).

Pick: Will look at the Under in his game. The Bengals have not played great defense this year, but it is still a very good defense that is more than capable of shutting down this pathetic Jaguars offense. The Bengal offense has not been great this year and they will be taking on a Jaguars defense that has allowed just 16.5 ppg in their last 4 games. This defense is playing much better right now. We also note that the Bengals had been dealing with many offensive injuries this year and while they do AJ Green back, they may not keep him in their a whole lot should the Bengals get up big, as can be expected. The Bengals will rely on their defense in this one, knowing that they do not have to do a whole lot on offense to win it.
