The Bulls played well in their loss to the Terps and had a lead after 3 quarters, before Maryland won it in the fourth. The Bulls played very well on the defensive side, holding Maryland to just 317 yards in the game and just 2.9 yards per rush. The offense did struggle for them as they could muster 257 yards of offense, including just 83 on the ground. Overall the offense hasn’t been great for this team, as they rank 95th in total yards (371 ypg) and 88th in scoring (26.5 ppg), while on defense they rank 70th in yards allowed (385.5 ypg) and 85th in points allowed (27.5 ppg)
Pick: I will go with the Under in this game. Just can't see this game coming all that close to 50 points. The Bulls offense is rather pathetic and will be missing some key starters for this one. Even with they were all that healthy I still don't feel that they would score a whole lot of points vs a weak NC State defense. The NC State offense is very good, but the Bulls have played solid defense this year and always seem to play good defense at home. The Game line in this is just 1 point and to me that indicates a low scoring game, because the Bulls just don't have enough off to get into a shootout and keep the game close. 21-20 sounds about right for this one.
