Pro Football Betting Odds Cincinnati Bengals vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Free Pick

Sunday NFL and we will see the Cincinnati Bengals take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The game has a start time of 1:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on CBS. Current Vegas odds have the Bengals listed as 3.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 44.

Analysis:  The Cincinnati Bengals sit atop the AFC North with a 7-3-1 record, but still have just a half game lead over the rest of the division, which are all at 7-4. The Bengals have now won 4 of their last 5 games and are 3-2 on the road. The Bengals are 4-1-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games in November, but 1-11 ATS off BB road games if vs a sub .500 opponent. The Bengals have been a rather average offensive team ranking 15th in total yards, 22nd in passing, 8th in rushing and 14th in scoring (22.4 ppg). The defense for the Bengals has not been great, as they come in ranked 24th in yards allowed, 18th vs the pass, 27th vs the run and 13th in points allowed (21.3 ppg).

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are having a bad year, as they come in with a 209 record, but as bad as that record is they are just 2 games out of the race in the pathetic NFC South. The Bucs are 9-1 ATS at home before playing Detroit and 9-1 ATS after playing Chicago, but they are also 2-8 ATS the last 10 games in this series. Tampa Bay is not a good offensive team, ranking 26th in total yards, 17th in passing, 29th in passing and 27th in scoring (18.8 ppg). The defense for the Bucs has not been all that good either as they come in ranked 22nd in total yards allowed, 22nd vs the pass, 19th vs the run and 29th in points allowed (27.3 ppg).

Pick: Going to go with the Bucs in this one. This may be a trap spot for the Bengals, who are playing their 3rd straight road, are off a big road win in Houston and have a huge division game vs Pittsburgh on deck. It may be hard for them to get up for a 2-9 Tampa team that will be first up to try and get their first home win of the year. The Bucs really haven’t played all that bad of late, as they have outgained their last 4 foes and they are in a nice sandwich of their own, going 9-1 ATS at home before playing the Lions and 9-1 ATS after playing the Bears. Watch out Bengals, as the trap has been set and I will call for the outright upset by the Bucs in this one.
