Timberwolves plus 12 at Nuggets
This is too many points for Denver, a team that is three games below .500, to lay. The Nuggets are just off two games against Dallas in a back-to-back series. Now they step down in class and may lack intensity.
The Nuggets are going through a bit of an adjustment period, too, as backup point guard Jameer Nelson just was added and Wilson Chandler recently returned from an injury. Ty Lawson, Chandler and Arron Afflalo all played at least 39 minutes in last night's loss to Dallas. The Nuggets are 7-15-1 ATS the past 23 times when playing without rest.
Minnesota ranks with the 76ers and Knicks as one of the three worst teams in the league. But the Timberwolves upset Indiana on the road and covered against the Suns last night during their past two games. Minnesota is 5-1 ATS in its last six away contests.
Point guard Mo Williams is the hottest player in the league right now scoring 78 points in the last two games making 11 of 23 shots from 3-point range. Andrew Wiggins also has been playing well while stating a strong case for Rookie of the Year honors. He's averaged better than 20 points per game during his last 12 games.
On the handicapping front, the last time I put out five units on an NBA and CBB game was Thursday and went 2-0. I'm looking for history to repeat itself today as a I have my Triple Star January NBA Game of the Month plus a Double Star College Basketball Play going. They can be found here:

As always, no bad luck!
