Here's my weekly rundown of sharp moves on the college board. Info garnered from numerous sources in Nevada, offshore and in several stateside locales where this remarkably still isn't legal. Note the moves are not my plays, just information and any comments are from my contacts. If there's a game that has moved substantially from the opening number that is not included in this report, assume the move is public play rather than an influx of pro dough.
301 Louisiana Tech drew some early sharp action, but the public is now pushing the Bulldogs to a large extent.
312 Penn State was hit reasonably hard by some sharps early in the week. Public liked Buffalo early but that has leveled off for the time being.
314 Connecticut drew early pro money but that's now also a square side.
318 Louisville has ben popular with both sharps and squares.
320 Mississippi has been a hit with just about everyone from the outset. One of my contacts said he has yet to write a ticket on Fresno State.
321 Temple has taken some sharp action. Multiple sources indicate they believe Cincinnati will be a heavy square side on game day.
323 LSU is an agreement between pros and amateurs.
329 UTSA is another game where both sides seem to agree and the number on the game has dropped substantially from the hard open.
330 Ohio has been popular with pros and Joes. Comment from one of my guys: "Looks like everyone saw how lucky they (Marshall) got on Sunday."
338 Arkansas State has not drawn big money, but what sharp action there has been has been on that side.
346 Michigan is getting pro cash and the consensus seems to be that this number will continue to creep north.
353 Notre Dame has been attractive to both factions.
358 California drew serious pro money early and the steam chasers have jumped in quickly on the Bears. Books might have a surprising liability on this game.
365 San Jose State has drawn a steady stream of sharp action from the outset. My biggest west coast shop think this game could get as low as 5 by game time.
369 Bowling Green has gotten the lion's share of the early action from both pros and Joes.
373 Kentucky is proving to somewhat enticing to the wise guys.
400 Stanford was hit hard on Tuesday. It has since leveled out to some extent but the books will probably be rooting for UCF here.
That's all I've got for now. Best advice, as always, don't be overly influenced by any of this info. If you like a side and believe it's a winner, don't let anyone talk you off it.
