The World Golf Classic continues on Friday morning live from Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. The WGC Bridgestone Invitational Friday Tiger Woods Tee Time is set for 10:00 a.m. EST and he will play with Branden Grace. The Golf Channel will have live coverage beginning at 2 p.m. EST.

Woods shot an even par 70 in his opening round at the Bridgestone, which saw him card birdies on the second, 10th and 11th holes. However, Woods was 3-over par on the back nine, bogeying 13, 16 and 18. Jim Furyk dominated the course, shooting an impressive 7-under par 63. He eagled the Par-5 second hole to start his day and added birdies on four, eight, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18. His two blemishes on the card came as bogeys on seven and 12.

Surprising Lee Slattery shot an impressive 65, which was good for a 5-under par round that has him currently in sole possession of second place. Bubba Watson, Ben Crane, Luke Donald, Rafael Cabrera Bello, Simon Dyson and John Senden all shot 66 on the day, which puts them in a tie for third place with scores of 4-under par.

Retief Goosen leads a large group at 3-under par that includes Sergio Garcia and Keegan Bradley.

Woods' tee time is moved up significantly from when he teed off on Thursday morning. The course might be able to have a better score placed up on it during the morning sessions, before the greens dry out too much. I'd be surprised if Woods isn't able to move up the leaderboard and post a pretty good score overall.
