The defense for this team has been good as well, ranking 99th in points allowed (62.5 ppg), 45th in defensive FG% (38.4%) and 115th in 3 point defense (31.6%).  

The Virginia cavaliers come in as one of the top teams in the nation, as they are ranked 3rd in the polls with a perfect 13-0 record, that includes a 7-0 mark at home. The Cavs are 16-4-2 ATS in their last 22 vs. Atlantic Coast and 22-5-2 ATS in their last 29 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record, but just 3-11 ATS in their last 11 home games in the series. Virginia has been a solid offensive team this year, ranking 92nd in scoring (72.0 ppg), 20th in shooting (48.9%), 23rd in 3 point shooting (39.7%) and 44th in FT shooting (73.5%). Defensively Cavs have been excellent, ranking 2nd in points allowed (50.8 ppg), 2nd in defensive FG% (33.6%) and 62nd in 3 point defense (30.0%). 

Pick:  Im actually going to look at the over in this game. The Virginia defense is very tough, especially at home, but their offense has been very good of late as they have averaged 78.4 ppg in their last 5 games, while NC State has averaged 70.6 ppg over the same stretch. Both teams do play god defense, but still I feel hat the offenses will do just enough to get the over.
