Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Louisville Cardinals Start Time, Betting Odds, Free Pick

The Louisville Cardinals are hosting the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in college football action on Saturday. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN2. The college football odds for the game have the Cardinals favored by five touchdowns to pick up the win.

College Football Odds
Louisville -35
Total: 55.5 points

The total and point spread’s close proximity tells you all you should know here. Louisville is no doubt going to score a ton of points and the defense is good enough to keep Wake Forest from being any type of threat in this one. The Cardinals are still on the outside looking in for the college football playoff rankings at this point, but if they continue to win and look good doing it, if any of the teams ahead of them fall Louisville will certainly be a top choice.

Lamar Jackson is going to win the Heisman Trophy based on stats alone. He’s got all kinds of crazy video game numbers on the season with 45 touchdowns to date and almost 4,000 yards of total offense. Nobody is coming close to that and he’s on a Top 10 team leading them to a potential ACC title, might as well give the trophy to Jackson now.

Wake Forest has actually had a decent season, they’re 6-3 despite having just five TD passes and eight interceptions from its quarterbacks this season. They don’t really do anything exceptionally well, but they have taken advantage of a weaker schedule. Both this week against Louisville and next against Clemson are losses, but the Demon Deacons are going to finish no worse than .500 on the season. They just don’t have a chance here.
