The UFC lightweight title is on the line tomorrow night as current champion Benson Henderson squares off against longtime Strikeforce strap holder Gilbert Melendez. The two talented fighters will head line the UFC on Fox 7 card, which is scheduled to get underway at 8:00pm ET at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. The latest Henderson vs Melendez Fight Predictions and Odds have Henderson listed as a -350 moneyline favorite ($350 wins $100) in the main event. The stacked under-card features a heavyweight clash between former UFC champion Frank Mir and undefeated Strikeforce Gran Prix winner Daniel Cormier as well as a lightweight battle between Nate Diaz and Josh Thomson. Cormier and Diaz are drawing favored status in those two contests, coming in at -450 and -200 odds respectively.

 

UFC on Fox 7 Fight Predictions: Cormier (-450), Chad Mendes (-625), TJ Dillashaw (-370). Consider those three in a parlay. Live Dogs: Matt Brown (+260), Gilbert Melendez (+270). Benson Henderson is the more talented fighter and should get the better of Melendez, but -300 odds may be a bit much unless one was to parlay Henderson with some other fighters (consider the above list if so). Melendez is no joke either, having won seven consecutive fights all with the belt on the line.
