The final UFC card of 2013 is a huge one as former middleweight champion Anderson Silva looks to regain the belt by taking out the only man to ever defeat him inside the Octagon, Chris Weidman. The card also features a battle for the women's bantamweight title between current champion Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate. The two women, who coached opposite one another on the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter, are meeting for the second time as well. UFC 168 Weidman vs. Silva II will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, December 28th; the event, which can be seen live on Pay Per View, has a scheduled start time of 10:00pm ET. The latest UFC Fight Predictions and Odds have Silva and Rousey listed as -185 and -675 money line favorites, respectively.
Fight Predictions: It is difficult to go against Silva, but Weidman already owns a win over the former champion and at +155 odds he represents the best value. Rousey destroyed Tate in their first meeting, submitting her, like she does everyone, via a first round arm bar. Tate did last until the 4:27 mark of the opening frame, though. Only Liz Carmouche has lasted longer against Rousey. Given the -675 line on a Rousey win, perhaps, a first round prop bet may offer better value.
