Thursday Night NBA Betting Odds Chicago Bulls vs Milwaukee Bucks Game 3 Free Pick

The NBA playoffs continue on Thursday night and we will see the Chicago Bulls travel to the BMO Harris Bradley Center to take on the Milwaukee Bucks in game 3 of their best-of-seven series. Free Pick to follow. The game has a start time of 8:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on NBATv. Current Vegas betting odds have Chicago listed as 3 point favorites, while the total is set at 186.5.

Analysis: The Chicago Bulls played very well late in the year as they won their last 4 games to close out the regular season and while both home game vs Milwaukee were not easy they have taken a 2-0 lead in this series, covering both games. Now the scene shifts to Milwaukee and the Bulls have played well on the road this year, going 23-18, which includes a split of the 2 games played here this year. Chicago has gone 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 2 days rest and 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings in Milwaukee. Chicago has scored 99.7 ppg on 44.3% shooting overall and 36.0% from long range on the road this year. Defensively they have been solid away from home, allowing just 98.0 pg on 43.1% shooting overall and 33.3% shooting from long range.

The Milwaukee Bucks made it to the playoffs with a 41-41 mark, but really they haven't played well for much of the 2nd half of the year. The Bucks lost both games in Chicago and have now gone just 10-20 in their last 30 games played. The Bucks have played decent at home, where they are 22-18 on the year. Milwaukee has gone 9-1 ATS in their last 10 Thursday games, but just 26-53-1 ATS in their last 80 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. The Bucks have scored 97.9 ppg on 44.9% shooting overall and 35.0% from long range at home for the year. Defensively they have been very good at home allowing 96.6 pg on 43.9% shooting overall and 35.3% shooting from long range.

Pick: I am going with the Bulls in this game. Milwaukee has gone just 10-20 in their last 30 games, while in their last 12 win just 4 have been vs a playoff team and just 2 of hose wins have been vs winning playoff teams. This is not a team that has stepped up vs good competition in the 2nd half of the season. Chicago is clearly the better team here and they played well on the road this year, while the Bucks are just 3-7 in their last 10 home games vs playoff teams. Chicago struggled some at home with this team, yet still wn by 12 and 9 points. I feel they put in a complete game here and should cover the small number rather easily.
