The Stanford Cardinal are on the road in college football action on Saturday night, taking on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a battle of Top 10 teams. The game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on NBC. The college football odds for the game have the Fighting Irish favored to pick up the win at home.
College Football Odds
Notre Dame -5
Total: 52 points
If not for Ohio State/Penn State, this would be the biggest game on the college football landscape this weekend. It still might be, given the history between the programs. Stanford has won three consecutive games here and seven of the last nine overall.
ND looks like a much better football team with Ian Book under center. He can make the throws and has the ability to make the plays with his feet, he’s certainly given the Irish a boost from the quarterback position.
Stanford was left for dead last week at Oregon, but somehow the Cardinal found a way to get the win. Bryce Love still hasn’t had a big game this season, and it’ll probably be tough sledding here against a solid Notre Dame defense. Last year Love posted 125 yards against Notre Dame and expect the Cardinal to get him the football as much as possible.
