A battle of ranked teams in the SEC takes place Saturday when No. 21 Mississippi State takes on No. 14 Texas A&M. The game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on the SEC Network. Currently the odds for the game have the Aggies favored at home to pick up the win.

Texas A&M and Mississippi State both have looked solid this year, the Bulldogs’ only loss on the season was against LSU. They went on the road last week and beat Auburn, holding them to just nine points in the victory.

The Aggies are 4-0 and have an excellent young duo at quarterback with Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray. The duo have combined to make several dynamic plays this season and Texas A&M has big aspirations this season.

Allen has tossed 11 touchdowns to date, four of them have gone to Christian Kirk. The Aggies also have a very solid back in Tra Carson, who is averaging almost five yards per carry with his three touchdowns. Mississippi State will feature a very sound defense looking to slow down the Aggies.

The Bulldogs feature one of the best quarterbacks in the country in Dak Prescott. He’s tossed for almost 1,100 yards and seven touchdowns, he also has two touchdowns on the ground as well. Mississippi State is physical on both sides of the football, but that should be matched by the intensity of Texas A&M.

The Texas A&M defense is considerably better compared to last year, which will be critical for them moving forward. The Aggies have some revenge in this one as well, last year the Bulldogs knocked off No. 6 Texas A&M.
