The Arkansas Razorbacks are hosting the Mississippi State Bulldogs in SEC College Football action on Saturday. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Razorbacks favored to pick up the victory in this one at home in what could be an exciting game.

Arkansas has won four straight games overall, only Alabama has more consecutive victories of SEC teams. The Hogs are now 6-4 on the season and 4-2 in conference action, they sit tied with LSU and Ole Miss in the SEC West standings with just a couple of games left in the season. 

Mississippi State has been productive in winning seven games this year, but the Bulldogs are just 3-3 in SEC action. Dak Prescott is a great dual-threat quarterback but he really struggled against Alabama despite throwing for 300 yards. The Bulldogs were held out of the end zone in that one, kicking just a pair of field goals in a game where the Crimson Tide proved why they remain on top in the SEC. Coming off that tough loss, how can Mississippi State respond?

Arkansas has an above average quarterback in Brandon Allen (22 TDs) and Alex Collins is one of the better backs in the country. Collins has bowled his way to a 6.1 yard-per-carry average to date this season with 14 touchdowns. He's gone over the 100-yard mark in each of the last four games, all of which were Arkansas wins — including 4 overtimes against Auburn and a 53-52 thriller at Ole Miss.

The Hogs are also coming off two straight road games where they knocked off those rebels and LSU last week. Arkansas, which started the season at 1-3 with losses to Toledo and Texas Tech, can end the year with a very respectable eight wins after the awful start.
