Pac-12 rivals Utah and Washington will meet tonight in a conference night cap at CenturyLink Field in Seattle. Start time in this evening’s showdown between the Utes and Huskies is scheduled for 10:30pm ET; the game will be broadcast live on the Pac-12 Network. Neither of these teams are a factor in their respective division races, but both teams are close to bowl eligibility with Washington sitting 5-4 and Utah at 4-5.

Postseason play looked like a long shot for each team midway through October, especially Utah. The Utes got off to a horrible 2-5 start thanks to a 0-4 run to open conference play; however, they have shown signs of late recently, winning back to back games against Pac-12 bottom feeders California and Washington State.

Utah crushed Cal 49-27 two weekend’s ago and it recorded its most impressive win of the season last Saturday, whipping the Cougars 49-6 in Salt Lake City.

The Huskies experienced a similar turnaround, recovering from consecutive losses against Oregon, USC, and Arizona with a home win over Oregon State (20-17) and a road victory at Cal (21-13).

Washington has more than its share of holes, but it has played well at home this season, making it an intriguing pick at +1. The Huskies are 4-1 at CenturyLink Field with upset of ranked teams in Stanford and the aforementioned Beavers.

Conversely, Utah has been abysmal on the road, going 0-4 outside of Salt Lake City with losses to Utah State, Arizona State, UCLA, and Oregon State.

Free Pick: Take Washington +1. This is a tough call considering how well Utah has played of late. In addition to their two recent victories, the Utes were also competitive in road losses to the Bruins and Beavers. The Huskies play at home, though, is hard to ignore and makes them the choice, especially catching a point.
