Analysis:  What a rough year it has been for the South Carolina Gamecocks, as they come in with a 4-5 record on the year, while winning just 1 of their last 5 games.The Gamecocks are also just 1-2 on the road and 2-5 in the SEC. South Carolina is 7-3 ATS vs. a team with a winning record, but also are 7-3 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. Offense has not been an issue for this team, as they come in ranked 24th in total yards, 19th in passing, 54th in rushing and 25th in scoring (35.9 ppg). The once vaunted defense is the problem for this team, as they come in ranked 110th in yards allowed, 81st vs the pass, 114th vs the run and 106th in points allowed (34.1 ypg).

The Florida Gators have not had the year they were expecting as they come in at just 5-3 on the year, but they have some momentum with BB road wins over Georgia and Vanderbilt. The Gators are 3rd in the SEC East with a 4-3 record. Florida is 6-0 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and 5-2 ATS the last 7 at home in this series, but are also just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games overall. The Gators have been a rather average offensive squad, ranking 78th in total yards, 108th in passing, 35th in rushing and 62nd in scoring (30.5 ppg). The Gators haven't had many issues on defense, ranking 18th in total yards allowed, 50th vs the pass, 12th vs the run and 37th in points allowed (22.9 ppg).

Pick: Gonna side with the Gamecocks in this one as they are not dead yet and we note that their last 4 losses have all been by 7 points or less. South Carolina has played very little defense this year, but their offense has been just fine averaging 35.9 ppg overall and 40.3 ppg one the road. The Gator defense has been tough this year, but still have allowed 26 ppg in conference play. The SC defense is not all that good, but they will be taking on a below average Florida offense that just can’t get out of its own way some times. The Gators have scored and allowed 26 ppg in conference play, while the Gamecocks have been outscored by just 3 ppg in the SEC. This one should be close.
