Saturday College Football Missouri at Florida: Start Time, Odds, Free Picks

The Missouri Tigers will attempt to garner their second SEC win of the season tomorrow afternoon when they battle No. 7 Florida at the Swamp. Start time in tomorrow’s meeting between the Tigers and Gators, which will be broadcast live on ESPN2, is set for 12:00pm ET. Missouri at Florida College Football Odds have Florida listed as a -17 against the spread home favorite; the game total is set at 42 points.

Missouri got off the SEC schnide last weekend by topping the Kentucky Wildcats 33-10 at Faurot Field in Columbia. The Tigers, who improved to 4-4 overall and snapped a two game skid with the win, limited Joker Phillips’ squad to nine first downs and 179 total yards in registering their second double digit victory of the season.

Despite the win, Missouri’s streak of seven consecutive bowl appearances in still very much in jeopardy. The Tigers play three of their last four games on the road and two of those contests, starting with tomorrow’s clash with Florida, are against ranked opponents.

Missouri, given all of its injury issues, is still a bit of an unknown commodity, particularly on the road. Gary Pinkel’s squad has played just two away games, getting drilled 31-10 at South Carolina before beating a quality Central Florida team 21-16.

Certainly Florida will present Mizzou with, arguably, its stiffest road test yet, but the Gators must avoid the dream crusher letdown after having, in all probability, their national title hopes dashed by the Georgia Bulldogs last weekend.

Florida went into last Saturday’s meeting with the Dawgs a 6.5 point favorite but they lost the game 17-9 thanks to six turnovers. The Gators’ defense, as it has done all season, showed well, holding Georgia to 1-for-10 on third down and 273 total yards.

This has all the makings of a defensive struggle as the Gators and Tigers rank 68th and 89th in scoring offense, respectively, this season. Those two units will be squaring off against the sixth and 25th ranked defenses in terms of yards per game allowed.

Free Pick: Take the Under 42.

Missouri Tigers at Florida Gators College Football Odds:
