San Antonio Spurs vs Los Angeles Clippers NBA Playoff Game 4 Betting Odds, Free Pick

The NBA Playoffs continue on Sunday afternoon and we will see the Los Angeles Clippers travel to the AT&T Center to take on the San Antonio Spurs in game 4 of their best-of-seven series. Free Pick to follow. The game has a start time of 3:30 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on ABC. Current Vegas betting odds have San Antonio listed as 6.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 199.5.

Analysis: The Los Angeles Clippers came into the playoffs as the number 3 seed and weren't really happy about having to meet up with the Spurs in round 1. Now they are even more unhappy as they are down 2-1 after getting blown out in game 3. The Clips are now 26-16 on the road this year. LA has gone 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 road games, but just 3-12 ATS in their last 15 Conference Quarterfinals games. The Clippers have scored 107.4 ppg on 47.6% shooting overall and 37.9% from long range on the road this year. Defensively they have struggled away from home as they have allowed 102.3 ppg on 45.1% shooting overall and 36.6% shooting from long range.

San Antonio lost their regular season finale to the Pelicans and many felt they just weren't focused on that game.  They followed that loss by getting blownout in game 1 of this series, but have since won 2 games in a row, including a 27 points how win in game 3. Now the Spurs have gone 34-8 on the year. San Antonio has gone 13-3 ATS in their last 16 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game, but just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 Conference Quarterfinals games. The Spurs have scored 107.4 ppg on 48.9% shooting overall and 39.1% from long range at home for the year. Defensively they have been solid at home, allowing 97.6 ppg on 45.8% shooting overall and 33.4% shooting from long range.

Pick: Going with the Over in this game. Both teams can score and while the Clippers put up just 93 points in game 1, I don't see them having the same issues scoring in this one. The is one of the best offensive teams in the league and the Spurs really are an average defensive squad. The Spurs like to play uptempo, specially at home and they have averaged 107.4 ppg on this floor and the Clippers have allowed 102.3 ppg on the road. This should be a faster game than the one played on this floor a few days ago and we should see 205 points here. The Over is 13-5-2 the last 20 meetings between these teams on this floor and that should continue here.
