Sunday Night Football Denver Broncos vs Kansas City Chiefs Free PIck

Sunday night football and the Denver Broncos will travel to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs. The game has a start time of 8:30 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on NBC. Current Vegas odds have Broncos listed as 1 point favorites, while the total is set at 49.5.

Analysis:  The Denver Broncos come in off a wild 39-36 home win over Miami last week. The Broncos have now alternated wins and losses their last 4 games, giving them an 8-3 record on the year and atop the AFC West by 1 full game over both the Chiefs and Chargers. The Broncos are  5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in Week 13 and 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game, but just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in November. Denver is a strong offensive team that ranks 3rd in total yards, 2nd in passing, 20th in rushing and 5th in scoring (30.2 ppg). The defense for the Broncos has been decent this year, ranking 6th in total yards, 15th vs the pass, 2nd vs the run and 18th in points allowed (23.6 ppg).

The Kansas City Chiefs are off an embarrassing road loss to the Raiders, in which they became Oakland's first victim of the year. The Loss dropped the Chiefs to 7-4 on the year and into a 2nd place tie with the Chargers in the AC West. The Chiefs are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. AFC, but just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. The Chiefs have been rather average on offense, ranking 22nd in total yards, 31st in passing, 4th in rushing and 13th in scoring (23.7 ppg). The defense for KC was been excellent this year, ranking 8th in yards allowed, 1st vs the pass, 26th vs the run and 3rd in points allowed (17.7 ppg).

Pick: I will look to the Under in this one. I have to because im the Undertaker. LOL Seriously though the Under is 6-1-1 the last 8 in this series and they Under is 25-10 in the Chiefs last 35 home games and 17-8-1 in their last 26 games vs a team with a winning record. The Chiefs do play more conservative at home and in big games and both those scenarios fit this game. Another reason for lower scoring home games is the fact that the Chiefs have allowed just 15.4 ppg on this field and in the earlier match between these teams they held the Broncos to their lowest scoring output at home for the year. They can hold them down here as well, while a very underrated Broncos defense, that is 2nd in the league vs the run should keep a conservative Chiefs offense in check. Should be a pretty tight game with no more than 42 points being scored.
