Phoenix Suns vs Minnesota Timberwolves NBA Odds

The Phoenix Suns continue their five game road swing tonight with a stop at the Target Center in Minneapolis. This evening's showdown between the Suns and the Minnesota Timberwolves is scheduled tip off at 9:30pm ET on ESPN. The latest NBA Odds at 5Dimes have Minnesota listed as a -8 against the spread home favorite and the Over/Under set at 213.5 points. Phoenix is drawing a +310 money line ($100 wins $310) while the hosting Timberwolves are -370 straight up selection ($370 wins $100).

Phoenix has been one of the league's biggest surprises this season, but it is not getting a lot of love from the odds makers in this evening's clash with the Timberwolves. It is, indeed, a short turnaround for the Suns, who took one on the chin in Chicago last night.

The Bulls handed Phoenix an 87-92 loss as they limited the usually hot Suns (average 103.2 points per game and 45.9 percent from the field) to a 40.2 percent shooting effort. Phoenix connected on just 33 of its 82 field goal attempts and it was a dismal 6-for-23 from beyond the arc.

The setback evened the Suns road record at 8-8 for the season and it dropped their overall mark to 20-13, leaving them two games back of the first place Warriors in the Pacific standings.

Minnesota brings a 17-17 record into tonight's game as it bounced back from Saturday's 111-115 home loss to the Thunder with a 126-95 thrashing of the lowly Sixers in Philadelphia on Monday night.

The Timberwolves had seven players score in double figures against the 76ers as they buried an astounding 61.5 percent from long range (16-of-26). Kevin Love led all scorers with 26 points; he also added seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals in the easy victory.

Minnesota, which is 10-6 at home this season, has won four of the last six meetings between these two teams, including the most recent battle, a April 2013 clash at the Target Center. The T-Wolves prevailed 105-93 in that contest thanks to a 24 point, 10 assist effort from point guard Ricky Rubio.

Notable Trends: The Timberwolves are 6-0 straight up and 4-2 against the spread in their last six games as a home favorite with a spread between 8 and 10.5 points.

Phoenix Suns vs Minnesota Timberwolves NBA Odds:

Phoenix Suns +8 (-110), Over 213.5 (-110), +310 (Moneyline)

Minnesota Timberwolves -8 (-110), Under 213.5 (-110), -370 (Moneyline)
