To say the 2013-14 NFL season has not gone according to plan would be an understatement. As proof of such, one need only examine the order of favorites from the Las Vegas Hotel & Casino's original 2014 Super Bowl Odds. Near the top of the famed bookmaker's initial list were the Houston Texans and Atlanta Falcons while teams like the Kansas City Chiefs and Arizona Cardinals were, reasonably, placed near the bottom. The LVH has adjusted their championship odds, though, and its latest Odds to Win 2014 Super Bowl include neither the Texans or Falcons. Meanwhile, the Chiefs and Cardinals are listed at 20 to 1 and 50 to 1 odds, respectively.

The current favorites to win Super Bowl XLVIII are the Denver Broncos at 5 to 2 odds ($100 wins $250); they are followed closely by the Seattle Seahawks, who are getting 11-4 odds ($100 wins $275) to win the franchise's first championship.

Also drawing heavy consideration are the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints at 6 to 1 odds. The Carolina Panthers and San Francisco 49ers appear to be viable contenders as well with listings of 10 to 1 and 12 to 1, respectively.

The LVH's current Super Bowl game line has the AFC favored at -1.5 against the spread and the Over/Under set at 51 points.
