NFC East rivals Dallas and New York meet for the second time this season when they collide on the gridiron at Cowboys Stadium later this afternoon. Start time in today’s showdown between the Giants and Cowboys, which will be broadcast live on FOX, is scheduled for 4:25pm ET. Nonetheless, as the two teams prepare for today’s battle, order has been restored. Dallas is 2-3 since its unexpected defeat of New York while the Giants have won five of six to earn a spot atop the NFC East standings.

Despite Dallas’ season opening win over New York, the Giants are getting most of the money as 80 percent of the spread cash is on the champs. That steam probably has a great deal to do with New York’s ability to win on the road and win close games.

Conversely, the Cowboys are notorious for their inability to close out games, and, frankly, its pedestrian play at home. Dallas is a 7-6 in its last 13 home games and it has dropped three of its last four as a host, losing to the Giants, Eagles, and Bears.

When these two teams meet in Texas the games are usually tightly contested and today’s contest probably will be as well, which is all the more reason to back the Giants.
